Wendy Braybon

Wendy Braybon is a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist for the Victorian Institute of Sport, Melbourne Physiotherapy Group, Australia and is an Australian Physiotherapy Association Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. She has attended five Olympic Games with the Australian Team and in 2012 was Head Physiotherapist for the Australian Olympic Team at the London Olympic Games and she was also Physiotherapist
for the Australian Commonwealth Games Team in 2010. Wendy has attended many World Championships with the Australian Softball Team and she was recently elected to the Australian Softball Hall of Fame. She is currently the Head Physiotherapist to the Australian Women’s Gymnastics Team, whom she has worked with for the past ten years. Wendy works in Private Practice in Melbourne as well as being Head Physiotherapist at the Victorian Institute of Sport where she is currently involved in research into factors leading to injury in young gymnasts. In addition she regularly lectures on shoulder and elbow injuries in elite athletes.
