Claire Small is the Owner and Clinical Director at Pure Sports Medicine, which opened in London in 2003. Claire has both an Undergraduate and Masters Degrees in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, Australia and she is a Fellow of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She has sat on both the ‘National Executive’ and the ‘Education and Training’ Committees of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and lectures both nationally and internationally on topics such as Manual Therapy, spinal, hip and pelvic pain. She is an Honorary Lecturer and Examiner at Queen Mary University of London, an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of London and University College London, and an invited lecturer at Kings College, London and the University of Bath. Claire is also a Journal Reviewer for Manual Therapy, Physical Therapy in Sport and the British Journal of Sports Medicine. Her clinical interests include Movement Dysfunction, Hips, Groin and Lumbo-pelvic Dysfunction, and her research interests include groin pain & pathology, including athletic groin pain.
